IN HIS HANDS : JER. 18:1-4, PHIL. 1:6
We are nothing more than a lump of lifeless clay until the Potter takes us “In His Hands” and begins the process of transformation. That which had no life begins to take on life and form as the Potter spins the wheel of life. The Potter is in complete control of the wheel and the clay. The wheel spins at the direction of the Potter’s biding. The Potter does not see a “lump of clay” but sees what that lump will become “In His Hands” as we are “Touched by Him.” If we are “In His Hands” we are continually being “Touched by Him.” This is a lifelong process and God already knows the end result. “Be still and know that I am God—I am the Potter—and I will be exalted in your life as I continue to mold you for My pleasure and for My purpose.”
